| Michael Platt, Pre-need Consultant Email: Defuneral@verizon.net Michael Platt was born and raised in Chester, PA. He graduated from St. James Catholic High School. He moved to New Castle, DE after marrying his wife Amy Smiley, a native Delawarean. They have three daughters – Holly and Jessica, who both attend St. Marks High School and a younger daughter, Sophie, who attends St. Peter the Apostle School. Michael and his family have been members of St. Peter the Apostle Church for over 15 years. After 20 years of being a Production Supervisor, he had found his true calling in the funeral business. He presently attends American Academy McAllistar Institute from where he will soon receive his degree in Mortuary Science and become a Licensed Funeral Director. Michael has been with Krienen-Griffith for over 5 years. He holds an insurance license in the state of Delaware for preneed funeral arrangements. He is a third generation member of the Knights of Columbus and has spent numerous years coaching softball |
